Born in 1968, Christophe La Pinta began his classical music training from the age of 6, studying percussion at the Toulon Music Academy.
 
In 1995, he was the winner of the « Peter Carpenter Fellowship » competition organized by the BMI foundation. This prize gave him the opportunity to spend a few months in Los Angeles, where he developed his composition skills working on the series NYPD Blue with the composer Mike Post.
 
Christophe La Pinta has collaborated with numerous directors as much for prestigous movies such as ALI BABA by Pierre Aknine, JOSEPH and L’ENFANT DE L’AUBE by Marc Angelo as for TV series (DIANNE FEMME FLIC, UN FLIC, ALICE NEVERS, LE JUGE EST UNE FEMME…). Among the authors he works with, we can notice Nicolas Cuche (INQUISITIO, DAVID NOLANDE), Jacques Malaterre (BOULEVARD DU PALAIS), Frédéric Tellier (LES HOMMES DE L’OMBRE), Jean-Marc Seban, Jérôme Segur or Etienne Dahaene.
 
He also arranged and co-composed the music for ERREUR DE LA BANQUE EN VOTRE FAVEUR (BANK ERROR IN YOUR FAVOUR), a film directed by Michel Munz. Since 2010, Christophe started composing music for feature films like SANS LAISSER DE TRACES (TRACELESS), directed by Grégoire Vigneron, LA CHANCE DE MA VIE (Nicolas Cuche), and more recently UN PRINCE (PRESQUE) CHARMANT (Philippe Lellouche), LA RUEE VERS L’ART (Marianne Lamour) or PRET A TOUT (Nicolas Cuche) in 2014.
