Passionate about music since his childhood, he was born in Paris in 1969. A composer, arranger, singer, he creates several bands and released his first album in 1986 (he’s only 18!). He made the first part of the concert of the mythic funk music group Delegation at the Elysée Montmartre. 
He offers his skills to serve other artists. 

1996 will be the most crucial year for his career. Pascal Lafa met Fred Garson, a promising young film director, who offered him to compose with the Poz band, the soundtrack of the making off of “Le Cinquième Elément” by Luc Besson. After this success, Fred Garson asked him to compose the score of his first feature film “The Dancer” in 2000.
 
Two years later he signed the music of “Sueurs” by Louis-Pascal Couvelaire. 
In the meantime, the common passion between the musician and the cineaste became a solid friendship and they created their own music production studio : Vinyl Studio. They settled their premises in the famous Opus recording studio.
 
A new turn happened in the Pascal Lafa life career, he worked with the majors French variety stars like Michel Fugain, Jenifer, Nolwenn Leroy, Laam etc… He arranged the music and co-realized with Richard Charest in 2004 the album “le Choeur des femmes” for the association Laurette Fugain. He also signed Jenifer, Faudel and others’ new albums. 
He works in parallel on many projects, in particular on the realization of his new album.
